Job Summary:
Leads a team, conducting day-to-day security procedures for a specific
operation, in line with the Corporate strategy and relevant requirements
specific for the location.
• Manage HSE requirements at assigned geography/facilities. To ensure Global HSE frameworks & local requirements are implemented through own actions and by ‘Site HSSE focal points’.
• Ensure coordination of ‘Site HSE focal points’ work and their application of Maersk HSE standards including maintaining an overview of all sites within Area geography and list of corresponding ‘Site HSSE focal points’ assigned to those sites.
• Assist Operational team members with day-to-day responsibility to implement HSE related activities (management/implementation/assessment/training) whilst understanding and managing the implications of change to risks in the Area.
• Assure critical controls are identified and a control effectiveness and maintenance plan is developed and implemented
• Defining the HSE requirements of contractors and vendors and assuring provision in contracts, and conformance of contractors at their place of work in line with directions from centre HSE functions.
• Provide technical expertise and support across the functionalities.
• Advise the business in a timely manner on all HSE legislative and best practice developments.
• Conducts HSE risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventive measures are undertaken as well as controls and barriers are put in place.
• Investigates, analyses and reviews all HSE incidents high potential Near Misses and unsafe practices within the assigned area. Report all incidents to the Area according to the define framework.
• Conduct post incident reviews for all incidents as required by the Global HSE share findings.
• Conduct lessons learned review sessions for all incidents/near misses, share findings with area.
• Conduct HSS audits of own as well as partner facilities as per global programs.
• Drive HSE audit/exercise/testing process for facilities and vendors & follow-up to ensure adequate performance. Maintain evidence and share with area.
• Maintain close working relationship with operations and other stakeholders.
