Job Description
You will be responsible to maintain the ongoing reliability, security, performance and support of the infrastructure. This includes monitoring the operating environments; responding to security incidents and problems.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilites would include, but not limited to;
Plan and carry out IT infrastructure security related projects.
Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and counter measures against threats to information or privacy globally.
Coordinate with IT and business on security concerns for network, infrastructure and various projects.
Manage and drive remediation efforts related to security incidents, vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for all campuses.
Ensure implementation of Security Incident and Threat Response process.
Deployment and operations of Data Leakage Protection solution.
Identify/recommend tools, processes, software, and hardware to improve or replace current security infrastructure practices, services, or technologies used globally to meet future requirements.
Perform impact analysis of identified risks.
Proactively implement security solution to mitigate latest security threats.
Information Security analyst install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect organizations sensitive information. They also assist computer users with installation or processing of new security products and procedures.
Information Security analyst leads incident response activities to isolate and minimize the impact. Security analyst will also lead restoration activities to resume normal operations.
Implementation of security fixes identified in Microsoft windows server environment.
Person should be responsible to ensure highest percentage of security patches compliance across organization through automated patching mechanism such as WSUS and SCCM.
Implement latest and advance security solution to mitigate identified security risks.
Identifying and Eliminating of Security Risks to System by regularly taking lead in deploying patches to the servers
Person should be able to get meaningful and actionable data from the reports generated by security assessment tools like tenable Nessus.
Information Security analyst must constantly monitor organizations networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions. They install software that helps to notify them of intrusions, and watch out for irregular system behaviour.
Prevent the environment from being affected by malicious software through monitoring and maintenance of Antivirus for all servers and user PCs.
Taking Backups of critical applications to ensure safety of data and minimum recovery time in case of disaster.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the field of IT infrastructure and Systems security.
Technical, analytical, interpersonal and organization skills required.
Hands-on experience on latest next generation firewalls, application gateways and cloud security center.
Hands-on experience on SCCM to implement latest security patches.
Direct experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection, data leak prevention and content filtering
Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
Experience of designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
Experience planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
Person should be able to lead forensic investigation.
Strong hands-on experience on Microsoft windows, Failover Clusters ,SCOM, SCVMM and VMware.
Ability to run Microsoft security baseline analyzer tool.
Hands-on experience on security information and event management system such as IBM Qradar.
Excellent working knowledge of up-to-date desktop applications.
Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal.
Ability to work well with others, as well as independently.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a business environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and customers to gain their trust and respect.
Ability to professionally deal with difficult people or situations.
Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully and steadfastly pushes self and others for results.
Ability to pick up technical concepts quickly and can learn new skills and knowledge.
