About the role:
As Assistant Manager – Ethics & Compliance, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s commitment to ethical business practices and maintaining a strong culture of integrity. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with investigators, management, and other stakeholders to ensure the implementation and follow-up of mitigating actions.

Integrity due diligence (IDD)
Training and awareness initiatives as well as integrity roadshows
Promoting a speak-up culture, and coordinating various anti-corruption activities.
Conducting anti-corruption risk assessments, drafting reports for management, and providing compliance recommendations based on investigation reports.
Your Typical Day of Work:
Third-Party Risk Management:
Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with third-party relationships.
Conduct due diligence on potential third-party partners to ensure they align with the company’s ethical standards and compliance requirements.
Monitor and assess the ongoing performance and compliance of existing third-party relationships.
Integrity Due Diligence (IDD):
Conduct comprehensive integrity due diligence investigations on new and existing employees, vendors, and business partners to evaluate potential risks.
Analyze and interpret findings from IDD investigations to assess integrity and compliance risks.
Recommend appropriate actions based on IDD outcomes to support risk mitigation efforts.
Training and Awareness:
Develop and deliver engaging training programs on ethics, compliance, and anti-corruption practices to employees and relevant stakeholders.
Foster a culture of compliance and integrity by promoting awareness and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Integrity Roadshows:
Organize and lead integrity roadshows to create a deep understanding of ethics and compliance matters throughout the organization.
Engage with employees to reinforce the importance of ethical behavior and encourage open communication channels.
Speak-Up Culture:
Develop and maintain systems for anonymous reporting of ethical concerns and potential misconduct.
Encourage employees to report any violations, ensuring a speak-up culture is ingrained within the organization.
Organizational Culture:
Support the development and maintenance of a strong ethical and compliant organizational culture.
Collaborate with various departments to align practices and behaviors with the company’s values and principles.
Anti-Corruption Risk Assessments:
Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify potential areas of corruption vulnerability.
Recommend appropriate measures to address identified risks and enhance anti-corruption efforts.
Anti-Corruption Monitoring Activities:
Implement and oversee monitoring programs to detect and prevent corrupt practices within the organization.
Regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of anti-corruption controls.
Drafting Reports for Management:
Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities, investigation outcomes, and integrity-related metrics for management review.
Coordinate with Investigators:
Collaborate with internal and external investigators during ethics-related investigations.
Review investigation reports and provide compliance recommendations and resolutions.
Monitor the implementation of compliance recommendations and ensure timely follow-up on any corrective actions.
What we are looking for?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics or a related field. ACCA, CCEP-I is a plus.
Certification: Professional certifications in compliance or ethics (e.g., CCEP) is a plus.
Work Experience:
Proven experience in ethics, compliance, or risk management, preferably in a corporate environment.
Solid understanding of anti-corruption laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey compliance concepts effectively.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to ethical conduct.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
